Te Hōnonga a Iwi Restoring Rosedale Park is a socio-environmental restoration project using regenerative agricultural methods on public land to deliver a commitment to decarbonising and promoting a circular economy.

This ambitious 10-year pilot programme, lead by North Harbour Hockey Association, is a collaboration between iwi, the commercial, education and sporting sectors and the public, delivering intergenerational intercultural inclusion, climate-positive nature-based solutions and holistic connection between people, place and business.

You can find out more about it through our integrated value model.

Project co-ordinator Nicky Shave says integrated value models are useful because they provide a comprehensive view of a project's overall impact by capturing financial, social, and environmental factors in a single framework. This holistic approach allows for better decision-making by highlighting how these different dimensions interact and influence each other.

"For Te Hōnonga a Iwi, it enables us to showcase all the strings we pull to increase our sustainability and demonstrate our value chain. Given we pull a lot of strings across our sustainable pillars, this model enables stakeholders to better understand all we do and the difference we make.

"I’d like to thank Samantha Weston and Sheryl Blythen as well as our focus group members for their hard work developing and producing this fantastic piece!"
